What happens when a light double bock from the Franconian brewery Weiher is placed in a barrel that has previously held rum for 10 years is revealed in this special brew. Weiherer India Pale Ale (IPA) pours a dark amber color with a fine, slightly creamy head. Brewed for the first time to celebrate the 140th anniversary, Weiherer Keller-Märzen is a tribute to liquid gold. Unfiltered, as it was in the brewery's founding year, Franconian malts (Pilsner, Melanoidin, and Cara Red) provide a full body and a bright amber color. Brewmaster Roland Kundmüller hopped it with his favorite hop, Spalter Select.

The OSw-ALT was originally created by the Weiherer employees as a one-off birthday present for their boss, Oswald Kundmüller. Because it was so well received, this Franconian Altbier is now available for everyone – pun intended. Altbier is a dark, top-fermented beer style traditionally brewed in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the greater Düsseldorf area. Our deep brown Franconian Altbier impresses with its delicate, nutty-malty aroma and a hint of raisin in the taste. Its light body and pleasantly mild effervescence make it a very drinkable beer.
